Nauticare Boat Waste Away is a mild blend of bacterial cultures selected and adapted to biologically break down and digest substances such as organic greases, fats, proteins, oil, hair, and other waste in your holding tank.
This product contains lipase, beta-glucanase and cellulose as well as specially selected strains of enzyme producing bacteria. Waste Away is biodegradable, contains no harsh chemicals or carcinogenic formaldehyde-based additives, and is safe to use in any type of holding tank system.
Once you have used chemical products such as formaldehyde or bleach in your holding tank, you must clean out the chemicals before adding a microbial product. This will balance the pH in your tank, allowing the bacteria to work. The bacteria in a balanced environment can clean lines, degrade waste, and deoderize your holding tank.
For the initial application of Waste Away add 4 to 6 ounces per 40 gallon holding tank. Subsequent maintenance application is 2 to 3 ounces per 40 gallon holding tank.
